Screw the studs into the headboard

Bolt the base box under it

Close the zips at both ends

Turn it over and fasten the flap

Screw on the head corner brackets

Screw in the two head legs

Screw the corner brackets to the side rails

Screw in the two foot legs

Bolt a side rail to the head end

Bolt on the other side rail

Bolt the foot rail on

Check all sixteen bolts sit flush

Lay in the storage bottom and zip it along the sides

Zip it along the ends

Screw the cap nuts on at the corners

Screw on the four frame supports

Screw the catch inside the foot rail

Stick on the pads

Push the threaded sleeves into the side rails

Bolt in the left and right lift mechanisms

Put in the back bolts

Screw the mechanisms to the side rails

Move the bed into place together

Join the end bars to the centre bar

Push the side tubes on

Screw the cross bar on, then turn the frame over

Bolt the corners

Screw on the mattress retainers

Lift the frame onto the mechanisms together

Bolt the frame to the mechanisms

Lift the lid and push in the bushings

Hang the gas struts on

Tighten all six mechanism bolts

Fit the strap handle under the foot end

Tuck the flaps down over the mechanisms

Close the lid

Clip the double holders onto the centre bar

Push a holder onto one end of every slat

Lay in the slats

Lay the mattress on

Open and close it by the strap
