Bolt a middle leg to the end of each side board
Push the side boards onto the headboard
Bolt the side boards to the headboard
Tap the dowels into the slat ledges
Bolt the cross board to the other end of the ledges
Turn the head end over and fit the ledges in

Stand it up and bolt the ledges to the headboard
